Book Group

Another way that we gather to honor Jewish women is in celebrating women’s writings in our Book Group. The focus of the Jewish Women’s Center book group is to read works by Jewish/Israeli women, and/or works with a Jewish/Israeli theme. We meet at members’ homes every four to six weeks on a night that is chosen by the group at each session. Below is a list of some of the titles we have been reading:

The Jewish Women’s Center maintains a library of books of interest to Jewish women, including fiction and nonfiction, reference and educational materials for holidays, life cycle rituals, Jewish feminism, Jewish study, and archival information about the Jewish Women’s Center.
